1. Agreement

These terms apply when you use emergingfootball.com and its services ("Emerging Football", "we", "us"). By using the site or creating an account you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Emerging Football.

2. What Emerging Football provides

• Fixtures, results, tables, form and match records for the football we cover.
• Grassroots team workspaces, competitions and public team pages.
• Articles and analysis by Emerging Football and approved writers.
• Tools for contributors who help record match data.

We may add, change or withdraw features. Some features may require an account or a separate agreement, such as API access.

3. Accounts

• Give accurate details and confirm your email address before your account becomes active.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us straight away if you think it has been misused.
• Roles such as team administrator, writer, contributor or competition organiser give extra permissions. We may review, limit or remove a role if it is misused.

4. Team administrators and organisers

• Only add players, staff and results for a team or competition you are authorised to manage.
• For every player under 18 you must have the consent of a parent or guardian before adding them, and keep their details accurate.
• Do not upload photos or personal details of anyone without their permission (or, for minors, their parent or guardian's permission).
• Enter results and match events honestly. Organisers accept results on behalf of their competition and record the reason for any correction.

5. Content you publish

• You keep ownership of what you write or upload. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it on Emerging Football and to promote Emerging Football with it.
• Only publish work that is your own or that you have the right to share. Do not publish anything false, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or that breaches someone's privacy.
• We may edit for format, decline, or remove content that breaks these terms, and we may remove writer access.

6. Acceptable use

Do not:

• break the law or help others to do so;
• scrape, copy in bulk or resell Emerging Football data without a written agreement;
• try to access accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to use, or disrupt the service;
• impersonate anyone or create accounts with false details;
• collect personal data about other users or players.

7. Accuracy of football data

We check professional results against public sources and mark unconfirmed results as pending, but data can still be incomplete or wrong, and grassroots records depend on the people who enter them. Emerging Football is provided "as is" for information. Analysis and predictions are opinions, not betting or financial advice. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

8. Our content

The Emerging Football name, logo, design, software and our compilations of data belong to us or our licensors. You may share links and short quotes with credit to Emerging Football. Any other reuse needs our written permission.

9. Suspending or closing accounts

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is required to be closed by law.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on football data, analysis or content published by others. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will show the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Emerging Football after a change means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
